  1. Walmart has the lowest price I have found on cata clean usually $23.00 before inflation VS $35 and $40 at the auto parts houses but I haven’t bought any lately due to the fact I discovered i could clean a clogged cat with a $8.00 can of Kleen brand of Lacquer thinner also from Walmart lol
    😂

  2. I use a gallon of lacquer thinner. Cheaper and works fine. Just be sure to fix the reason the cat is dirty.

  3. If your check engine light came out and found out it’s your catalytic efficiency.l p0420. Don’t reset the code, put this Cataclean, follow the instructions. If ur catalytic is not really clog the check engine light will turn off.

  4. My 2004 Cadillac CTS was so plugged that it seemed like the transmission didn’t want to move the car. I tried the product and got into the freeway. At first it ran rough for a few miles then got better as i cruised about 20 miles. im very impressed and hopefully i won’t have to change the cat.

  5. This is just a SCAMM. I used it like it says in the battle and it DID NOT WORK…. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

  6. I have used 3 bottles. This product has not worked for me this past week. I wanted it to work so bad.

  7. Seriously " My 2006 PT Cruzer Is All Re-Done" My Biggest Issue Is The Check Engine Light! PO420 Code! Will This Fix It One Time, Or Just Regular Use Like STP Gas Treatment Use?? Thankyou!!

  8. About to try it out in the next couple days when i get less than 7 gallons in my tank. Hard to tell fasue the gas light comes on with 7 still in it and dont really want to run it much lower. Might be my primary O2 sensor though because I just replaced a secondary one It had been bad I think for about a year but you could only tell and it would only throw codes in the winter time so this winter I put a new downstream O2 sensor behind the cat in ran fine and then the next day that p0420 code came up so if this doesn’t help it then I’m just going to get another O2 sensor but I would imagine mine is probably clogged full of crap since I drove around for a year with a O2 sensor not working too well

  9. All this does is make the cat get really hot too burn off the crap. If you drive down the interstate in a low gear with high rpms you’ll accomplish the same thing and if that don’t fix it this additive won’t either.

  10. It works just used it a hour ago. Right after I filled up the light was gone. I used in a 2019 bmw 740i. Glad didn’t have to replace the catalytic converter

  11. Did not work on my wife’s 2017 Ford Edge with the 3.5L engine. Going to purchase an O2 sensor to replace after cat O2 sensor. Mechanic friend of mine said the O2 going bad is common for my wife’s car and will throw a bad cat code. If O2 also does not work then it’s going to cost me $900 for a new manifold/cat from Ford.

  12. That Cadillac cleaner does not work I’ve used it on one of my cars did not work at all just my bias opinion it still felts smog

  13. Did not work 😭 at all…suv Chevy Tahoe 2001
    256,420 Miles original…. twice 😢😮💔

  14. Cataclean always works on my car’s. If it doesn’t work, then your catalytic converter is beyond cleaning it needs to be replaced, but in normal conditions it work’s 🎉😊

  15. Deff improved the issue i was having of feeling like there was no back pressure from the exhaust, car felt neutered, o2 sensor & car deemed the culprit this was my first time using product & ill cycle into my oil services every 3-4 months

  16. 2012 Chrysler caravan 3.6. My engine is misfiring cylinder 6, I did a tune up but still shake not as bad as it was but still do it but with a weird smell. Doing some research it looks like the Catalytic are bad but the weird things is not showing anything about catalytics on the codes. Is anyone had happened?

  17. Most often people run their car hard before the cat. Worms up enough to keep carbon burned off running hard collects carbon in the process overtime it accumulates until you get a code let the cat. get hot enough before any spritied driving

  18. The people who say it dont work dude that means ur cat is done and needs replacing….this works on Cats that are clogged and need cleaning ONLY

  19. entirely garbage – i monitored sensor2 o2 sensors with a high end scanner, following directions EXACTLY – on two different cars – did NOTHING – literally nothing — even the "chart" shows massive voltage changes, which is indicative of a bad cat or terrible gasket leak – burnt 8 gallons of fuel, 20 bucks for the tool (twice) with zero results — oh and "the i cleared the codes and drove for 100 miles" is rubbish, as a 420/430 usually takes 200+ miles to pop up to perm code from temp code

  20. My cars got an idle in the morning when cold , and I hoping this will solve it as people have had an idle problem and used this and said it worked.
